the premier non profit organization for Tamil community presents a traditional fun filled event
" Chithirai Kondattam 2011 "
on April 16 th 2011 at San Ramon Performing Arts center, which would include songs, classical & non-classical dances, folklore, Karoke, & instrumental performances.
A fun filled evening with a variety of cultural programs.

Bay Area Tamil Manram
Bay Area Tamil Manram (BATM), is the premier non profit organization for Tamil community living in the Bay area.
Bay Area Tamil Manram is a secular, non-profit, non-political, and non-partisan organization. It has been serving the San Francisco bay area since 1980. It was started as a group for like-minded Tamils to socialize and has grown into a strong organization of what it is now.
Tamil Manram as always stays committed to the promotion of Tamil, Tamil culture and encouraging local talents. Whether it is iyal, isai or nadakkam, Tamil Manram has always been an outlet to provide a stage for the local talents to exhibit their creativity.

Dear Tamil Patrons,
Due to overwhelming response we are advancing the event start time by 1 hour to accomodate the various programs of our members and accordingly please note the important changes to the time below :
~~~~~~ Event starts at 3:00 pm instead of 4:00 pm ~~~~~~~
Important House rules :
- Seating starts at 2.30 pm
- The programs starts on time sharp at 3.00 pm
- This is a limited seating performance theatre, so as per the city & venue fire marshall code the door closes at the count of 600.
- There are no seat assignments and seating will be on first come first served basis, so patrons are requested to be on time.
- There are more than 70 waitlisted members and seating will be allotted to them if there are vacancies starting at 3.15 pm.
Also as per the county officials note :
"Once the theatre reaches capacity or audience members cannot get to their seats safely or without interrupting the performance the Doors will be shut. Any additional audience members will have to wait in the lobby"
